Welcome!
I am a PhD candidate and NSF Graduate Research Fellow in Stony Brook University's Interdepartmental Doctoral Program in Anthropological Sciences (IDPAS). I am a behavioral ecologist broadly interested in the evolution of social behavior. Advised by Dr. Catherine Markham, my dissertation research focuses on the relationship between individual heterogeneity and collective behaviors in wild savannah baboons. Specifically, it aims to understand what shapes individual differences in social responsiveness, how these differences affect collective behaviors, and how group-level phenomena impact individual experience and fitness.
